Celebration of the author’s 25th birthday at the Land Art Workshop in Motovun.
Birthday – the cult of celebrating the date of birth occupies a special place in the emotional life of humans. Birth, joy, sorrow, love, pain, pleasure, melancholy, death… and the everlasting question: What remains after we are gone? What is the purpose of life?
Fire – a primordial element of human civilisation, the beginning and end of it all, hides answers to many questions.
“June 5 1998, The Line of Fire” is a search for an answer to these existential questions through burning of a 15-meter-long line made from branches, logs and grass.
