Illegal Operation

The video material was taped during the illegal operation of the author’s tooth in 1998 in Zagreb. In the year 2000 in Cologne, a linear video clip “Illegal Operation” was edited, in which every five seconds audiovisual flashes of the operation appeared. The same clip, now in 2006, was re-edited in a three-channel video installation. In three large format video projections, and in irregular rhythms, in a loop, the audiovisual flashes appear, creating a chaotic and aggressive atmosphere and provoking fear and terror in the viewers.
